What Animal Friends OS offers

• Grooming, boarding, daycare and training in one system, with online booking, a client portal and two-way SMS.
• Three plans: Starter $69/month (up to 3 staff), Professional $109/month and Premium $169/month (unlimited staff). Pay yearly and get two months free. Plans are priced per business, not per user.
• A one-time $49 activation covers carrier registration for texting and moving your existing clients and pets across, which we do for you at no additional charge.
• Card payments run through your own Stripe account and settle to your bank. Animal Friends OS adds a 0% platform fee. Optional OS Payments is a flat 0.4% + 15¢ per transaction, always shown before you turn it on.
• Month to month, no auto-renewal. 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
• Built-in QuickBooks sync, payroll tools, REST API access and a branded client app.

Questions to ask any vendor, including us

1. What will I pay each month for my exact number of staff, locations and text messages, and what is the price at renewal?
2. Is anything priced per user, per location or per module, and which features are add-ons?
3. Which payment processors can I use? What does the processor charge, and does the software company add any platform fee on top?
4. How long is the contract, does it auto-renew, and what are the cancellation terms? Please put them in writing.
5. Are there setup, onboarding, data migration or carrier-registration fees?
6. How many text messages are included, and what happens when I go over?
7. Can I export all of my clients, pets, vaccination records and history, in what format, and is there a fee?
8. What support do I get, when is it available, and how do I reach a person?
9. How are my data backed up and secured, and who can see it?

Moving your data

If you decide to move to Animal Friends OS from any system, we move your existing clients and pets across as part of the activation, and you can also import a CSV export yourself. Ask your current vendor which exports they provide and whether any fees apply.
