Square support is visible in Animal Friends OS Settings but is not yet connectable — it is gated behind our processor rollout. Stripe is the processor you can connect and start charging with today; Square is coming later.
Animal Friends OS lets you bring your own Stripe account, your own SMS provider, and your own accounting system, instead of forcing you onto a bundled stack.
Square appears as an option in Settings → Payment Processor, but selecting it does not complete a live connection yet. This is a "coming soon" gate, not a bug — the integration has not shipped. Nothing about your account is broken if you see Square listed but cannot connect it.
Stripe is the only processor you can connect in-app right now. Setup takes under two minutes: Settings, Payment Processor, Stripe, paste your API keys. Every invoice, point-of-sale charge, recurring membership payment, and online booking deposit flows through your own Stripe account.
We would rather tell you Square is planned and not live than let a page imply you can connect it today and have you find out otherwise in Settings. When Square support ships, this page will be updated to reflect a real, working integration.
