Reserve

Pay the $1,500 deposit and fill out a short intake form. We confirm your slot within 24 hours and schedule a kickoff call to walk through your brand assets, services, and any custom requirements.

Days 1 – 10

Build

We design and build your app over 10 business days. You receive progress previews at the midpoint so you can catch any brand misses early. All screens are built mobile-first for iOS and Android simultaneously.

Days 11 – 13

Review

You receive a TestFlight (iOS) and internal testing (Android) build to test on real devices. Request up to two rounds of revisions — we implement feedback quickly, typically within 24 hours per round.

Days 14 – 18

Launch

Once you approve the final build, pay the remaining $1,500 and we submit to both stores. App Store review typically takes 3–5 days. Google Play is usually live within 24–48 hours. You are notified the moment each goes live.

Do I need an Apple Developer account?
We handle the Apple Developer enrollment for you as part of the project. You will need to create an Apple ID (free) and authorize us to submit on your behalf — we walk you through this during onboarding. The annual Apple Developer fee ($99/yr) is the only recurring cost, and it is billed directly to you by Apple.
What happens if I want changes after launch?
Your first 30 days post-launch include bug fixes at no charge. Content updates and new features after that are billed at $120/hr. We also offer retainer packages for shops that want ongoing app support — ask about this during your kickoff call.
How does the booking request form work?
Clients fill out a form inside the app — selecting service, date preference, pet, and any notes. The request lands in your email (and optionally in Animal Friends OS if you use it). You confirm manually. We deliberately keep this as a request flow, not instant booking, so you stay in control of your schedule without integration complexity.
Is this the same as Animal Friends OS's built-in branded app?
No. Every Animal Friends OS plan already includes a branded client app at no extra cost, delivered through the Furley consumer app — you customize your logo, colors and layout style from your dashboard. This custom app service is different: it is for businesses that want a fully bespoke, purpose-built app — written to spec, with your exact screens and flows, published as its own separate App Store listing under your business name — without subscribing to a platform. You own the code outright.
Can you add in-app payments later?
Yes. In-app payment processing (via Stripe or Authorize.net) is available as an add-on, quoted at $120/hr. It typically adds 8–12 hours depending on your payment provider and flow. We scope it cleanly so the base app is ready to extend.
Do you build for Android too?
Yes — every build includes both iOS and Android at the flat $3,000 price. We use React Native, so both platforms come from the same codebase. There is no per-platform surcharge.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Your logo (vector or high-res PNG), brand colors (hex codes if you have them), a list of your services with pricing, and any photos you want in the gallery. We send a simple intake form after your deposit. You do not need to write any copy — we draft it for you.
Can I see examples of apps you've built?
Yes — we share a portfolio of past builds during your kickoff call. We respect client confidentiality so we do not publish live App Store links publicly without permission.
What if I need more than 5 screens?
Additional screens beyond the 5 included are designed and built at $120/hr. Most screens take 4–8 hours depending on complexity. We will scope and quote any additions before we start so there are no surprises.
Is there a monthly fee after launch?
No. The $3,000 is a one-time flat fee. Your only recurring costs are the Apple Developer fee ($99/yr, paid directly to Apple) and optionally the Google Play fee ($25 one-time, paid directly to Google). We do not charge a retainer or commission. The app is yours.
