When staff leave, you remove their mailbox instead of hunting through a personal account that has your clients in it.
If you use the full OS, the inbox knows your clients.
Your mailboxes live in the Animal Friends OS inbox, a shared team inbox. For Animal Friends OS customers, when a message comes from someone who is already a client, their pets, vaccine status and next booking can sit beside the message so your team does not have to look them up.
You can use business email without the full OS. Client details come from your Animal Friends OS client records, so they appear only if you use the full OS.

How much is business email for a pet business?
$12 a month with one mailbox, and $5 a month for each extra mailbox. Animal Friends OS customers pay $9 and $3. Yearly billing gives 2 months free.
Do I need my own domain name?
Yes. Business email uses your domain, like [email protected]. You can register one with us or connect one you own.
Can I read it on my phone?
Yes, in your phone browser through the Animal Friends OS inbox, and you can optionally forward a mailbox to an address you already check. Connecting a phone mail app is not supported yet.
What are SPF, DKIM and DMARC?
They are records that tell mail providers your messages are really from you. Without them, email from a business domain is more likely to land in spam. We set them up for you when your domain is with us.
Can several people share one address?
Yes. You can create a shared mailbox such as bookings@ and add more mailboxes for staff for $5 a month each.
Is this the same as the Animal Friends OS inbox?
Your mailboxes open in the Animal Friends OS inbox. If you also use the full Animal Friends OS, client details can show beside each message. Business email works on its own too.
Can I move my old email over?
There is no import tool yet. Tell us which service you use when you join the list and we will let you know what is possible.
