The bundle is a website, professional email with 2 mailboxes, and your .com domain included free while you stay subscribed. It is $39 a month, or $24 for Animal Friends OS customers, and annual billing gives 2 months free ($390 or $240 a year).
Bought separately, the same things are about $48.08 a month ($29 website, $12 email, $5 second mailbox and $24.99 a year for the domain, spread over 12 months). For Animal Friends OS customers it is about $28.67 separately: $15, $9, $3 and $19.99 a year. The domain is included only while you stay subscribed.
Eight things to ask before you sign up.
1. What is the renewal price?
A low first-year price that jumps later is common. Ask what you will pay in year two. Ours is the same as year one.
2. Whose name is the domain registered in?
It should be yours. If the provider is the registered owner, moving later can be hard.
3. Can I take my domain away?
Ask how transfers work and whether there is a fee. Normal registry waiting periods apply to any new registration.
4. Is email included, or sold per mailbox?
Many plans charge for every mailbox. Count the people who need one.
5. Is the security certificate included?
It should be. Browsers warn visitors away from sites without one.
6. What happens to my site if I stop paying?
Ask whether you can export your text and photos first.
7. Who do I call?
Check whether you reach someone who understands a pet business.
8. What is the cancellation process?
Month to month with no notice period is the standard to expect.
